Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Cases is a surgical journal dedicated to publishing case reports and case series only which must be original, educational, rare conditions or findings, or clinically interesting to an international audience of surgeons and clinicians. Case series can be prospective or retrospective and examine the outcomes of management or mechanisms in more than one patient. Case reports may include new or modified methodology and treatment, uncommon findings, and mechanisms. All case reports and case series will be peer reviewed for acceptance for publication in the Journal. Authors will be notified of this decision and at the same time requested to pay an Author Processing Fee. Following payment of this fee, case reports and case series will be made universally available at no further charge through ScienceDirect.

As of 1 January 2019 the journal has been transferred to the new Publisher, inspira Network.Revista Española de Cirugía Oral y Maxilofacial (Spanish Journal of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery) is the official Journal of the Spanish Society of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery (SECOM), which unites more than 800 professionals. The Journal publishes only original articles focused on research, clinical practice, systematic reviews and consensus documents. In addition, the Journal has a section for residents to promote their interaction with other members of the Society. With the contributions of medical professionals from Spain, Portugal and Latin America, the Journal has become an important international platform for scientific exchange.The Journal is an open-access publication. The Editorial Committee and reviewers function independently from SECOM, and each manuscript is evaluated in a peer-review process. The Journal is published in digital format in both English and Spanish, with a total of 6 issues annually, and it is included in the ScienceDirect and SciELO online databases. Revista Española de Cirugía Oral y Maxilofacial es la revista oficial de la Sociedad Española de Cirugía Oral y Maxilofacial (SECOM) que aglutina a más de 800 profesionales. Publica solamente artículos originales orientados a la investigación, la clínica, revisiones sistemáticas y documentos de consenso. Dispone además de una sección dedicada a los médicos residentes, potenciando la interacción entre estos y el resto de la Sociedad. ?La Revista se ha convertido en un importante órgano de intercambio científico a nivel internacional, ya que aglutina profesionales de España, Portugal y Latinoamérica. Es de acceso abierto. El comité editorial y los revisores son independientes respecto de la SECOM y cada manuscrito es evaluado por revisión a pares.
