A Journal of the Association for Prevention Teaching and Research and the American College of Preventive Medicine AJPM Focus is the official open access journal of the Association for Prevention Teaching and Research and the American College of Preventive Medicine. The aim of this journal is to serve as the academic open access repository for high-quality prevention evidence across the global spectrum of health. The journal's scope spans all aspects of public health and preventive medicine practice, teaching, and research, including: community medicine, community health, and global health; assessment, policy development, and assurance; health promotion, health protection, and disease prevention; population medicine, population health, and population health management, such as health systems and services delivery; and clinical preventive medicine, integrative medicine, and lifestyle medicine. Papers that interconnect or thoughtfully dissect topics within these foci are desirable. Original papers, reviews, and editorials based on quantitative, qualitative, or mixed methodologies, including all experimental and observational designs, are welcomed. The journal also encourages the submission of other scholarly articles such as case studies; articles that report pilot data analyses and preliminary results; studies with null or negative results; replication studies; primary or secondary research protocols; program evaluations, quality improvement findings, and policy analyses; and implementation, translation, and synthesis science studies. Lastly, the journal publishes AJPM papers devoted to areas of interest to public health and preventive medicine when funders mandate publication in a fully open access journal.

Acta Colombiana de Cuidado Intensivo is the official publication of the Asociación Colombiana de Medicina Crítica y Cuidado Intensivo (Colombian Association of Critical Medicine and Intensive Care). It is published every three months in March, June, September and December and is intended to be a means of dissemination in all areas associated with the management of the critically ill patient. All the manuscripts received by the Acta Colombiana de Cuidado Intensivo are reviewed using a double blind system by experts in the specialty (peer review). The Journal publishes articles on research (Originals), Reviews, Case Reports , and Case Series, as well as Articles on Reflections, and Clinical Comments. Also, it offers the possibility of publishing supplements on specific topics that allows the reader to get into a particular area of knowledge in depth. The development of Intensive Care has encouraged certain areas of specialisation within the specialists dedicated to the care of the critically ill patient. Responding to this need, Acta Colombiana de Cuidado Intensivo pays particular attention to certain areas of interests which are made up by experts. The subject matter organisation of the Journal enables it to approach not just technical subjects, but also those related to the logistic organisation of the practice of intensive care. Research and Methods in Cell and Tissue Biology Acta Histochemica is a classic scientific journal established in 1954 currently focused on basic research and methodological innovations in cell and tissue biology. The aim of the journal is to promote the peer-reviewed publication of original articles and short communications reporting novel results and experimental approaches in the field, as well as comprehensive reviews, letters to the editor and meeting reports, serving as an open forum for the cell and histochemical research community. Manuscripts analysing the mechanisms of functional regulation of living systems at a cell/tissue level, in physiological or pathological conditions, or reporting new techniques and methodological approaches to quantify/visualize cellular activities are particularly welcomed.

As of 1 January 2020 the journal has been transferred to the new Publisher, AVES Acta Orthopaedica et Traumatologica Turcica (AOTT) publishes diagnostic, treatment, and prevention methods related to orthopedics and traumatology and original studies in related disciplines. Contributions may be in the form of clinical and basic research articles, case reports, personal clinical and technical notes, systematic reviews, meta-analyses and letters to the Editor. The Journal also publishes brief reports on original studies or evaluations, book reviews, and proceedings of scientific meetings. Opinions presented in published articles by no means represent the official endorsement of the Turkish Association of Orthopaedics and Traumatology. Articles and illustrations become the property of the Journal after publication. The official language of the Journal is English. Electronic versions of all printed articles are presented in both English and Turkish at the official web site (http://www.aott.org.tr).
