Barry J. Campbell
Barry Campbell is physiologist with expertise in gut endocrine and secretory cell physiology, mucosal glycobiology, immunology, infection biology and microbiomes. His research has led to specific understanding of microbiota communities and specific bacteria-host epithelium interactions relevant to infective diarrheal disease, inflammatory bowel disease and inflammation-associated bowel cancer, including translational projects on effects of antibiotics, probiotics, environment modulating agents and dietary components.
