Diana Baumann
Dr. Baumann is Head of Reptile & Aquatics at the Stowers Institute for Medical Research. The AAALACi accredited facility has worked with over 60 different species including lizards, snakes, fish, frogs, and aquatic invertebrates. She is a member of AALAS, IAT, LAMA, LAWTE, ZHA, and ANZLAA and teaches the AALAS animal technician certification courses as well as courses in laboratory animal management. Diana was an Institute of Laboratory Animal Management (ILAM) graduate in 2008, serving as class president, and she obtained CMAR certification in 2010. Diana served on the ILAM Committee for seven years, chairing it in 2011 and 2015 and she now chairs the AALAS Education Resources Committee. She serves as an ad hoc Specialist for AAALACi. Diana is recipient of the 2011 Ron Orta Memorial Award, the 2015 LAWTE IMPACT Award, the 2016 Charles River CHARTER Medallion, and the 2018 AALAS George R. Collins Education and Training Award.

Lauren Pandolfo
Dr. Pandolfo holds the position of Lab Animal & Fisheries Facilities Manager for Eunice Kennedy Shriver National Institute of Child Health & Human Development at the National Institutes of Health, Bethesda Maryland, USA Campus. She is CMAR certified and serves as an ad hoc Specialist for AAALACi. The NICHD Central Zebrafish Facility is one of the largest zebrafish research facility in the world. Dr. Pandolfo directs the animal husbandry and facility management of aquatics programs. She has established a strong record of success, productivity, and innovation in the care and rearing of zebrafish and other fish species.
