Gholamreza Jahanfarnia, (Ph.D.-Nuclear power plant. Dept., MPEI university, Moscow, Russia, July 2005) is an Iranian associated professor of Science and Research Branch of Islamic Azad University. His expertise span various topics, including thethermonotronics of SCWR reactors, thermal hydraulic process in steam generators, the decommissioning of nuclear power plants, modeling of WWER reactor pressure vessel with RELAP code and analyzing LOFA accident in reactor with FLUENT code. Analyzing thermal hydraulic process in reactor core with CFD methods and performance optimization of steam boilers in thermal power plants are the other parts of his interests. Furthermore, he is experienced in piping engineering including design and construction, energy saving methods in buildings, modelling of process involve with single and two-phase heat transfer and modelling of process involve with mass transfer.
