Yuqing Jiao
Yuqing Jiao (Senior Member, IEEE) obtained duo Ph.D. degrees from the Eindhoven University of Technology, The Netherlands, and Zhejiang University, China, in 2013. Since 2016, he has been appointed as Assistant Professor at Eindhoven University of Technology and tenured since 2018. He has (co)authored more than 50 international journal publications (among which five are invited) and a book chapter. His research topic is focused on III-V-based nanophotonic integration platform and associated III-V nanofabrication technologies for wide applications. He serves as an Editorial Board Member for the IOP Journal of Semiconductors.

Di Liang
Di Liang received his B.S. degree in Optical Engineering from the Zhejiang University, China in 2002, and his M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in Electrical Engineering from the University of Notre Dame, USA in 2004 and 2006, respectively. His research interests include silicon and III-V photonics, diode lasers, high-speed optical monitors and photodiodes, heterogeneous integration techniques and micro/nanophotonics fabrication. He has authored and co-authored 1 edited book, 7 book chapters, and over 250 journal and conference papers. He is a Fellow of Optica Society and Senior Member of IEEE. He is an associate editor for IEEE Journal of Quantum Electronics and Optica Photonics Research journal.

Mitsuru Takenaka
Mitsuru Takenaka received his B.E., M.E., and Ph.D. degrees in electronic engineering from the University of Tokyo, Japan, in 1998, 2000, and 2003, respectively. During 2003-2007, he was a research fellow of the Optoelectronics Industry and Technology Development Association, where he was engaged in research on photonic routers. In 2007, he joined the Department of Electrical Engineering, the University of Tokyo, as a lecturer. In 2008, he became an associate professor at the Department of Electrical Engineering and Information Systems, the University of Tokyo. Since 2020, he is a professor at the Department of Electrical Engineering and Information Systems, the University of Tokyo. He is a member of IEEE Photonics Society, IEEE Electron Devices Society, Optical Society of America, the Institute of Electronics Information, and Communication Engineers (IEICE), and the Japan Society of Applied Physics (JSAP).
