Umer Shahzad currently works as an Associate Professor at the Anhui University of Finance and Economics, China. His research interests include energy finance, energy economics and sustainability. Prof. Shahzad’s current research is focused on environmental aspects of energy, complexity and international trade. He has authored research articles in some of the top-notch journals such as Technological Forecasting and Social Change, Business Strategy and Environment, the IEEE Transactions on Engineering Management, the Journal of Environmental Management, the Renewable and Sustainable Energy Reviews, Current Issues in Tourism, Energy, Resources Policy, the Journal of Cleaner Production, and Science of the total Environment.
