Lea Hallik
Lea Hallik received the M.Sc. degree in botany and ecology, in 2000, and the Ph.D. degree in plant ecology and ecophysiology, in 2009, both from the University of Tartu, Estonia. She worked as a postdoctoral fellow in the Department of Plant Physiology in Estonian University of Life Sciences from 2010 to 2013 supervised by Prof Ülo Niinemets. In 2014 she started to work in the Vegetation Remote Sensing Group of Tartu Observatory as a senior researcher. Her current research interests include the ecophysiology of plant light acclimation and remote sensing with main emphasis on foliage pigments content and chlorophyll to nitrogen ratio (Chl/N). She has excellent experience in international scientific cooperation for remote sensing application. Most recently she led Estonian validation team in H2020 project MULTIPLY http://www.multiply-h2020.eu/ and ESA project GlobDiversity https://www.globdiversity.net/ She has been MC member of COST Action ES0930 EUROSPEC; COST Action ES1309 OPTIMISE and currently COST Action CA17134 SENSECO

Ionut Sandric
Ionuț Șandric, currently an Associate Professor at the Faculty of Geography, University of Bucharest, has extensive experience in over 17 research and commercial projects and specializes in combining geospatial knowledge with software engineering to develop geospatial environmental models. His research focuses on spatial and temporal modeling of landslides, including tools for assessing the propagation of uncertainty in landslide hazards. He has led projects on multihazard and multirisk assessment, drone-based landslide feature mapping, agricultural pathogen detection using drone imagery, urban climate applications using satellite imagery, and soil moisture satellite product analysis for Romania.
