Prof. Richard John Horton is MA in Natural Sciences,Anatomy, Physiology, Biochemistry and Pathology. He studied at the University of Cambridge and the St. Bartholomew Hospital, Medical College. Currently he is consultant to WHO/TDR on drug development and Professor in Biomedical Sicences at the Murdoch University, Perth, Australia. He is honorary Fellow Royal Society of Tropical Medicine en Hygiene and member of the American Society of Tropical Medicine.
